NFS Most Wanted - Crash on launch
I purchased a genuine copy of the game, and tried using the patch but it down not work. I am guessing this is targeted toward a later or modified version.. Does this patch work for legitimate copies, or is there an older version that does?

Worked for me after deleting "nfsmw_res.ini" in "scripts" folder where game is installed.

It didn’t work for me, but it’s really enlightening. Finally, I found changing WriteSettingsToFile = 0 to 1 in NFSMostWanted.WidescreenFix.ini is the solution for me.
