Plugin Install Not working (Chinatown Wars)

Open CommanderProton opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

I've been trying to get the plugins for Chinatown Wars and LCS to work but even tho I followed the install instructions to a T, none of them work and I haven't been able to troubleshoot an answer on my own.

How can I help?

I mean, I simply downloaded the Chinatown Wars Fusion Fix and followed the instructions of "Download and extract the archive to the directory, where PPSSPP's memstick folder is located", same with the LCS mod, and then booted up both games and neither of them worked. IDK why.

If it doesn't do anything, it's just not loading then. You should see a popup that says plugin is loaded on game startup. Also if you load an old save state without plugin, it won't load of course.

Yeah I get no prompt. I'm not loading a save state either, I'm just booting up the game.

Then you didn't place inside correct folder. The files are relative to memory stick folder of the emulator, so zip contains memstick folder, and files in it should go to your memory stick, it doesn't have to be memstick. I bundle it that way for portable ppsspp build.

But now I'm confused on where it SHOULD go to work. I feel the install instructions should've been more clear.
