Tested on the steam deck, with Proton Experimental and Proton 7 too to be sure Proton wasn't at fault (hopefully?) Tested with unlock all resolutions 1 and 0, both tries at 1280x720

Can you check which option is causing that? Also provide a save game.

I use the default options in the mod, and in game too (tried both variable framerate targeting 90 FPS and locked 60 FPS), using classic 4:3 backgrounds (not stretched) The only other mod I use on the deck is the BGM fix that only concerns audio files hopefully. Here is my sick save file, with the blue save in the middle being the one I use (new game +++++++ all costumes and game modes completed, except invisible zombie) :
