Max Payne 32:9 widescreen problem:(

Hi, playing Max Payne at 5120x1440 with a 32: 9 aspect ratio in Part II: A Cold Day In Hell - Prologue is a problem with stretched textures and the game is unplayable. See picture https://ibb.co/Y0PMcL6

that's due to the fact that in these levels the FOV is way larger than in the rest of the game, you need to change your resolution to 16:9 or 4:3 (these are the only ones I tested) to fix that.

There's also FovFactor option.

OMG it works. When I edit the MaxPayne.WidescreenFix.ini file in the Max Payne \ scripts folder and change the value from 1 to 0.7 in the FOVFactor line, they no longer appear stretched in the maze mission. Then as soon as I crossed the maze I changed the value back to number 1. Thanks for the tip.

Maybe it would help if I temporarily removed Widescreen Fix from the game. Then I would finish the maze mission on "uncorrected resolution" and when I passed it, I would add Widescreen Fix back to the game. But it helped fix that value at FOVFactor. Thanks for the help anyway.
