[GTA3] Does not work with SkyGfx
Game launches, but refuses to load up when using SkyGfx. Works perfectly fine for San Andreas with SkyGFX, it's only 3 that has this issue.
I can't reproduce.
How are you installing SkyGfx? What version? Could you send a picture of your GTA 3 directory?

Like I said, I unpacked https://github.com/aap/skygfx_vc/releases/download/v3.0b/SkyGfx_III_VC_3.0b.zip into scripts, alongside with windowed asi, works on my end.

It crashes inside SetTexture in d3d8, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I have found a fix for GTA3, which is to set Windowed Mode to a higher priority in modloader (I just did 100.) However, I'd like to update, and say that upon further testing, the mod has weird compatibility with VC. Sometimes it will crash upon loading the menu, and you can't change the window size in the menu without the game crashing.
Checking it further, the issue in VC happens without SkyGfx as well. Changing the name of the issue back and making a new issue.
what can I say? im also getting crashes pairing this with skygfx

removing skygfx fixes it for me so
this has been reported for years and still nothing? there's a clear pattern of crashes with Skygfx...
