This is probably related to the fact that search makes much more usage of the SemanticUI widgets, which use *Muli*. If *Liberation Sans* is not loaded, then it's a bug....

Most emails in Indico are text/plain since I fully agree that HTML mails usually suck. but for some things the extra formatting options with HTML are somewhat useful...
