Guide needs updating for DCS World 2.9.9.####
Have tried many combinations of latest wine-9.22-staging and winetricks packages for latest standalone DCS World 2.9.9.2474
Nothing works.
Tried what seems like everything.

Guide needs updating; to many combinations exist in forums, protondb, and github guides:
vcrun2019 corefonts xact d3dcompiler_43 or arial dxvk vcrun2022 or corefonts xact_x64 d3dcompiler_47
What is the latest? what actually works definitively; not just throwing mud at the wall and seeing what sticks.
I don't have time to update the guide, but there are some notes on how to get past the launcher black screen in the proton issue thread
Since I just did a fresh install, I've forked this, and updating. I'll push a merge request when done. Feel free to make suggestions. I think a number of bugs have probably been fixed, as I've not dealt with them, but will check first before removing.
So I tried and failed miserably. HOWEVER https://github.com/budderpard/DCS_Standalone_on_linux/tree/master this works fine. dunno why they haven't sent a pull request.
