Add alpha channel for updates

Currently there are two channels (indicated by the prerelease flag in a github release).

Add a third one, that can be activated using a command line switch that can be used for internal testing. Then, add a test run with a new version to the build process to catch crashes (like in 0.8) before publishing anything to the beta or release channel.
