After going to sleep, theremin doesn't reconnect to MPD

When my computer goes to sleep or looses wifi for some reason, theremin won't automatically reconnect. Same happens if I unplug my ethernet cable and plug it back it.. could someone have a look? I like to control mpd with my media keys and not with the command line, I was hoping that Theremin could solve that frustration, seeing as it is an mpd client and not a tool that does nothing.
