A message to TheRhysWyrill and a request to add something to XBSX2
Hello good evening @TheRhysWyrill or anyone else thats reading this. I was told that you @TheRhysWyrill were one of the developers for xbsx2. First let me start off by saying that there are certain games like guitar hero which run really good on the emulator itself. I have actually tried playing them with all types of controllers but they don't seem to control the game for example, guitar hero 2. The only controller that does is the Xbox series controller or I should say the regular controllers. Today though I would like to give a request for the emulator and see if there is any way possible where you can add multiple controller support with different types of profiles. In my opinion that would be super awesome. In addition I would think that adding more controller support like the rock band guitar or the Xbox 360 guitars would be cool to play with on the guitar hero games for ps2. Not trying to bother you though although I can also understand how hard it can be. Basically I think more of this of controller and remmaping support would make xbsx2 the best to use. If you can please give me a response, I'll try to respond when I can. Thank you for making this emulator for the Xbox @TheRhysWyrill
Unfortunately I don't believe there's a way to natively add support for other controllers within the app itself, the only way that could be done would be by using one of those various adapters that allows use of other controllers on Xbox etc, it might be possible to allow for Xbox One controllers when using this on Xbox Series Consoles but that's probably all that can be done.
OK. Yeah I understand what you mean now. I also wanted to ask you just in case if there was a possibility like I said. Thanks for responding, apart from that do you think you can give me an example of an adapter for the series x itself like what you were telling me for the Xbox one controllers?
An adapter shouldn't be necessary for Xbox Controllers to be used but for others I know there's something called the Cronus Zen and some other brand(s) that I don't recall the name of.
