This would be really great. But we also need the permission to read the state of apps to known if they have cache.
I have seen this option available in the following apps:
1Tap Cleaner Has option to skip smaller caches.
AppMgr III (App 2 SD, Hide and Freeze apps) Has option to skip smaller caches
Gator - System Cleaning Tool Premium feature
CCleaner Premium feature available on watching ad
Phone Cleaner - Cache Cleaner Free
SD Maid - System Cleaning Tool Premium feature

not saying its not possible or that I won't do it. It just isn't a priority right now. I'm working on other more effective enhancements. Such as adding the ability to clean SD cards. Of which seems to be the location of the vast majority of files that the app isn't cleaning

Thanks for clarifying that you still have plans to add it. That would be a much needed enhancement.
Actually, the main intention behind sharing the apps was that I thought that apps related to the project and their features/UI/UX might be of interest to you.

Ah in that case, I have actually been doing some planning on that today. I will be redoing the app to look a lot like CCleaner
