Shell command confirmaion not displaying problem when connected with pipe

When connecting multiple commands with | and "sgpt -s" in the first place, the generated shell command and confirmation message "[E]xecute, [D]escribe, [A]bort:" won't display, although the user can still input e, d, or a to progress:
