Harpoon menu is filled with __harpoon-menu__number

Every time I open my Harpoon menu, it is randomly filled with '__harpoon__menu' followed by a random number. Trying to delete them using 'dd' will erase them temporarily, but when it reopens, they are filled again. Also adding a file to the harpoon buffer will also be place randomly alnogside those harpoon-menus
