Déjàvu and C0-15012-9 system crash

Open Byte1122 opened this issue 4 years ago • 8 comments

I am using the plugin to beat a very hard game. But today I experience an error when I restarted my ps vita (phat). It throws me the C0-15012-9 system error when I just connect to WiFi even before I attempt to start h-encore. I am on 3.68. The system asked to restore the ps vita. Don’t do that.

I pinpointed this error to something interesting. When using the dejavu plugin it generate a message that is appearing in the notification menu. The date is very strange, something like year 3099. The message itself is empty. Anyhow I think the system want to show this message and it will only be trigged when there is an internet connection.

So error C0-15012-9 wont appeared when you switch off your WiFi connection. Next step is that I want to search down the message that is occurring this error.

For someone saving a lot of time;

  1. If you use the plugin to load a savestate
  2. It loads successful and you can continue using you ps vita
  3. Check also if there is a message with a strange date (system message)
  4. Delete this message while you are still in you successfully loaded dejavu savestate. If you dont do that and you reboot the device, than the device will give you system errors when you connected to the internet.

I am having the same issue and it's really frustrating that I can't seem to find any solutions. I too was using dejavu to beat a difficult game and I used dejavu for more than 20 times in an hour. Just like addressed in this post, I received a message (it wasn't empty unlike the message in the image) from the PS Vita system every time I used the plugin. Though, switching between apps and deleting the message every single time is quite tiresome (it takes me 5 seconds to fail and 42 seconds to wait for dejavu to load back a previously saved state), so I decided to ignore it.

Then, after failing at the game once again, I loaded back a state but instead of the game I was faced with a prompt telling me that there was a serious issue with my device and that it needs to be restarted. I hit restart as it was my only option there. It booted my Vita (3G, 3.65) in safe mode, with only the restore and restart options available; I restarted my Vita. However, as long as my Vita is connected to the internet (haven't tested connecting it to an AP with no internet connection, though I don't get any errors when the Wifi is enabled but not connected to a network), I am having the same error and forced to restart my device twice (into and out of safe mode). This also occurs whenever I try to use dejavu again.

It looks like the development is in hiatus, so I am not even expecting dejavu to work properly every time. At this point, I just want to be able to turn on my Vita's Wifi. I have already tried wiping and updating the database using a homebrew called App DB Tool. Just FYI, my Near opens up Vitashell. Are there any fixes for this issue?

Hi jetrosut, Have you tried to remove the dejavu plugin and it's declaration from config.txt. I think due to the problem coming from the plugin itself then by deleting (removal of the skprx file) or even disabling the plugin (removing the declaration entry from the config.txt). It should allow you to fix your PS vita from it's internet connection problem. I don't believe that wiping your live area will help anything since it's just the app icon placement (from my observation of wiping the live area and updating it.)

Disabling the plugin made no difference. I was forced to do a factory reset in the end. -jetrosut

Unfortunately...My PSV no strange message after save/load a savestate(PSN not login) but error code C0-15012-9 show after reboot

Is any solution about this issue???

@givered A factory reset should do it. I don't know of any other ways.
