Black screen

Vitashell went black screen while i was navegating troug some retroarch files, i reseted the console, h-encore and all the apps work but when i open vitashell is just a black screen.

I allready tried deleting the app and reinstalling it whit the h-encore but when i open it its just a black screen :/ i have to format mi sd again? or is there anithing else that i could do?

Same with me... When is search about cheat database in retroarch... It freeze..and when i close the vita shell.. It blank screen..... Cheat databasw in retroarch has so much data. And i think vitashell cant load all. And i still didnt have the solution... Anybody?

You should be able to bypass this by launching VitaShell and hold L just before the menu appears

Omg it works.... Btw i forget which button L I hold because it feels depressed.. I hold all L button and L bumper. Left button or left bumper? Cos i tried all button.....

my vitashell stuck at black screen after launch it, i already re-install it, but still stuck.... anyone have solution to resolve it,help me please... (my vitashell version is the newest: 1.98)

Try when you launched it, before the menu appears, you should hold left bumper ithink... Try many times... At my case, it works...... Thanks theofficialflow... My vita shell is 1.98 too...

The cause is probably due to the function of "Recent files" VitaShell has a function to delete Shortcut files of Recent files after a certain period of time has passed If there are too many shortcut files for that Recent files, it takes quite a while to delete them, and it appears to stop on a black screen

i dont have retroarch on my vita or and sd2vita but im getting a simmilar issue i havent tried other cfw apps but vita shell gets stuck on black livearea screen with just its bubble and the notifications button and back button but its unresponsive
