Monthly newsletter

It would be really cool to have a newsletter of the growth of TOP and how it's doing on a contribution level. We could recognize the big contributors and give them something to point to in their resumes.

Some things this newsletter could include:

  • last month's analytics vs current month's
  • interesting pieces of data from the analytics
  • lesson completions
  • a featured project from a student
  • important TOP updates

I think this is not a bad idea if there's a way we can either share the burden or automate putting it together. I will not sign up for maintaining a publication indefinitely.

@codyloyd I think this could be mostly automated in fact. We could just add some nice touches to it and special notifications to it if needed/wanted.

It would be cool to say things like:

Last month, we made 33 PRs to curriculum. The PR rockstar is: <your name here> We've had 4000 users sign up last month There has been 900 points given in the chat.
