It seems like lots of people are asking in the discord whether they should install the Microsoft apt repository during vs code installation.

This could be alleviated with a simple extra line before the installation steps, or wherever may be better. It seems like something people needn't be delayed for during installation, and I have seen it asked quite a few times.
