Inpaint Issue

Open xblitzarts opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Hey! I'm a notebook user via RunPod, I work with an RTX 3090 24GB and I haven't had any issues so far, but I'd like to know if there's a way to revert to a previous version not too far back, say version 1.8.

Starting about a week ago, Automatic 1111 (not this notebook) began having a problem with the Inpaint feature. When performing inpaint, it seems to ignore the resolution setting regardless of the area, resulting in low-quality outputs similar to pre-Hires Fix levels on 4K images with a lot of base detail.

It's like the process is reversed: instead of adding more detail or making the image cleaner and sharper, it degrades and removes details. I've tried changing samplers, using different detail Loras, and increasing the denoising value, but the higher the denoising, the less detail I get, which is strange.

This had happened to me before, where sometimes the outputs would suddenly become terrible with the same parameters. Back then, restarting the pod would fix it. Now, it's something similar but only with inpaint. When using adetailer, it doesn't happen and the results are high quality.

In the example It’s especially noticeable in the overall color and texture. In the edited version, you can see it lacks textures and appears somewhat faded
