Not clear how parameter 'number of subject images' works

Maybe it is me but to me the explanation of the parameter is really confusing. Do you mean the number of instance images, so for example, the number of photos of myself (like 26)? Or do you mean the number of class images, so for example the number photos of different men?

In other words, if I have 26 photos of myself and 300 class images of different men, what parameters do I set?

Subject = Class, I used the term subject because Class could seem technical to some.
