Tableau Desktop Crashed when when using "Extract All" Tableau Extension to extract total record more than 1,048,576

Thank you so much for " "Extract All" Tableau Extension, it's really helpful however Tableau Desktop Crashed when using "Extract All" Tableau Extension to extract the total record more than 1,048,576 and this is the record limit for single excel sheet. Please take a look at it. It would be great if you write the records on multiple sheets if the total records exceeds the excel max limit.

As the download functionality of this extension so far only works in Tableau Server I would try to recreate this issue in Tableau Server. At the moment it looks like Tableau just crashes when bringing in the Extension (I can see the extension window). Could you try again in Tableau Server and see if this error still persists?

Hi Andre, Thank you for looking into this issue, I tried the extension on Tableau Desktop. Could you please elaborate on recreating the issue in Tableau server? Do you mean that installing tableau Desktop on Tableau server and give a try the extension? or using web EDIT mode on site which got connected to tableau server? Please let me know.

Hi Andre, I have configured the server site > Extenstions > Enable specific extenstions with the below URL https://exportallextension.theinformationlab.io

and tried "Export All" extension using Tableau server web edit option on IE, getting the below Error.

Could you please take a look at it.

Issue nothing to do with plugin, excel limitations, https://support.office.com/en-us/article/excel-specifications-and-limits-1672b34d-7043-467e-8e27-269d656771c3

you should consider limit the export, or throw error message
