Ok, so the issue is occurring on Caithleen's Galactic Science pack on the MineYourMind server, and only occurs when placing blocks in some locations within a tardis.

After using a piston to push a block into the affected location, the block can be replaced without crashing.

Moonstone should prevent generation during the day, are you testing at night?

Could you test this again without Aura Cascade installed? There might be an incompatibility issue with the two mods.
