Docker Container: Is it possible to use an docker socket proxy?

Hi, I do not like the idea of integration of docker.socket file into the container. Is it possible to use a network docker socket instead of? For traefik for example it is possible to use a docker tcp socket which can be used via docker container: tecnativa/docker-socket-proxy If that is possible which kind of docker-compose settings must be set?
