Bitrate prompt showing when it should be auto-selected
So if I set the preferences to this:
I get this
Whilst when I uncheck it it seems to get auto-selected.
It should be the other way round I guess, but I also don't know where the bug is...
This should be working as of f3977cd / v1.17.0.
Currently having the same issue, dialog doesn't appear in fullscreen mode, but in windowed mode it randomly shows up.

Same. I'll start a show on Netflix, go to fullscreen, then at some point go back to regular-screen, and the prompt will appear. I'll manually select the highest video bitrate, and the video quality will seem to improve. (note: I have all three extension options checked)
I'll try to push this on Linux more, since I've tested all along on Windows and never seen it, but I just haven't been able to get this reproduced. With all three options checked or not. And f3977cd implemented the same changes that others use, as far as I can tell, to prevent exactly this race condition. If someone can visibly look at the code and tell me if I messed up somewhere...I'm happy to fix it, I promise. 🦊
I'm hoping the common thread isn't that you're all on MacOS...
Apologies, I forgot to say my specs! I'm running Windows 11 (I'd add my Firefox version but I'm not at my computer rn)
Also having that issue, on Linux, with Firefox v103.0.2, and add-on v1.17.0
Same issue on Firefox under Linux
Also have this issue on Firefox (snap package) under Linux (to be clear, the popup, the shortcut works for me, no issues with that)
Same issue using Firefox v105.0.2, add-on v1.17.0, and Windows 10
