Animate textures & swap texturepack buttons not working <small thank you aswell>

When i press the animate textures button, it says animated materials found but none applied. Not 100% sure what the issue is and could use some help

as a side note and unrelated, i just wanted to say thank you for all the time y'all spend helping people and making this tool/addon, ive seen some of the issues and ive seen how patient you've been with people, rare to see any kindness in areas like that, and just wanted to point it out, your doing amazing work and i feel like i speak for alot of people that its appreciated.

as another side note if its reasonable to add to one issue, when using the swap texturepack button, nothing ever happens, it normally says 0 materials applied, if it helps, for both issues, ive been using jmc2obj

Thanks for flagging! Yes, that error message is essentially saying "This shouldn't happen, so if this error message is going on, we're not really sure why". I should investigate it a bit further to see when it occurs. Can you let me know if reimporting a fresh world in a new scene and trying it results in the same issue consistently? This issue I've had in the past debugging this is making it reproducible.

In terms of swap textures not doing anything, I'd make sure that you have the blocks selected explicitly for it to work. If you're already doing that and it's still doing nothing, let me know. Assuming you've followed this.

@Knightrider1006 just want to ask, can you give steps to reproduce this? I've never used the animate textures option but I have used the texture swap option. Also, by any chance did you delete the MTL file that exports with the OBJ? Deleting the MTL file can cause issues like this
