Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy) issues - dependencies are missing

Describe the bug
Some dependencies are missing at ppa builds, because they are not at ubuntu repository, such as libappimageupdate. And there is no deb build at github releases page.
Expected behavior
We need a deb build for the AppImageLauncher for the LTS releases of distros. Otherwise, users cannot install it easily.

Same problem for any distro from 22.04 up. Several OS releases now and no way to resolve dependencies. The lite version is too crippled.
It's been nearly 4 years since the last release, are we going to get a new one soon @TheAssassin ?
Verified on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
@Routhinator Probably time to fork it.
