I was just chatting with Jonathan Mudge, Project Leader at GENCODE. He confirmed that GENCODE are no longer using this term as a biotype in their database (https://www.gencodegenes.org/pages/biotypes.html), and he agrees that this term (originally requested by them) can now be deleted.
RNAcentral doesn't have any ncRNAs annotated to this term, and I can't find any usage of the term by searching for 'three prime overlapping ncrna' or 'SO:0002120' using Google.
Can you delete this term?
@sjm41 I've emailed Adam Frankish and asked him to confirm in this thread. If I don't hear back from him in a couple days we'll go ahead and obsolete.
Also @sjm41, just double checking that there isn't somewhere else that we need to be referring people to when it comes to this term?

Hi @egchristensen No, I think it can just be simply deleted.

Hi @egchristensen Did Adam get back to you? Can we obsolete this term now? Thanks.
