Description

Along other possible reasons for the timing degradation that we see in #3611 it's possible that the amount of free area in this design worsen the criticality of the worst paths - which are mainly made purely of std cells i.e., the new macro placement generated by the changes in #8716 shouldn't affect that much.

Suggested Solution

Shrink the die area and evaluate CI results.
