logging of long steps

low verbosity is nice and all but some steps (detailed routing) has marginally longer runtime than other steps and we can't monitor the progress unless we open the log file.

Proposal

at least allow printing the whole log file of long steps even in low verbosity and perhaps at most live tailing last n lines of log files of long steps
