How to use those macOS versions? Everything I try fails. It just gives this as output: 4NXCI v[the version I chosse] by The-4n I tried multiple versions....
Please describe in details how you run the tool. I.e. what the exact command you use to run it.
4nxci-v2.01_macos.zip v2.01
could you compile the 2.10 version? Or just share how you compile it. I have xcode command line tools installed, but make all fails with: no rule to make target 'config.mk'. Stop.
@iexa just rename config.mk.template in config.mk and then you can make :kissing_smiling_eyes:
Yep that should work :) But here you go: 4nxci-v2.10_macos.zip
Thanks, both of you. Indeed, renaming to config.mk worked w/o a hitch. My bad, shoulda' checked the filenames before askin' ;)
I must be dense, but how do i use this?
you need to have a keys.dat file, easiest way to get it is with kezplez-nx. I dont remember well, it might create a prod.keys file, just rename it to keys.dat and put it next to the 4nxci file. After that, launch Terminal.app on macos, cd into the folder where you have these plus the xci file, type in 4nxci ./[name-of-xci] => it will crete an nsp you can install with tinfoil. That's all. It's quite fast thanks to being written in c. Also it might create more than one nsp file, if the cartridge has updates / patches or multiple apps (hasbro family game night has 3 nsps for instance)
type in 4nxci ./[name-of-xci] => it will crete an nsp you can install with tinfoil.
Just for clarification, it's ./4nxci [name-of-xci]
Thanks @hippydave. Maybe we could also get a pull request with an updated README with macOS instructions? I just renamed config.mk.template
to config.mk
and make all
produced 4nxci
.
Here 4nxci v3.00 4nxci-v3.0.zip
Appreciate the effort but this should really be in the README and on the releases page. No one should be expected to look 20 comments deep in an issue for a build.
Why aren’t you using the release page of this project? No one will expect to look in a github issue for releases.

Because I can't contribute to the git itself. I just built it, so people can use it.
Aaaaand 4.01. 4nxci-v4.01.zip
You're too much
I know, right!?
4.02 here ;) 4nxci_402_macos.zip
And 4.03: 4nxci-v4.03_macos.zip
how would you use this with multiple XCI (I'm using fat32) to convert to NSP?
Found a solution in case anyone needs it: https://github.com/DDAAXX/XCI-Cutter-Qt/releases/download/v.0.2-alpha/XCICutter.app.zip
Thank you.It is very helpful.

Appreciate the effort but you might as well fork it @sudot0ph
