This happened to me 2 months ago.

First visit VOD has been lost as nothing really interesting occurred so it wasn't highlighted or anything. I can't seem to recreate this, possible this was fixed with 3.0+? Seems both cuphat and dotzo were on 2.0 at the time.

dotzo's was definitely either 3.0 or a dev build close to 3.0. If you check the beginning of the video, it has the modified title screen and file select screen hash.

e: His was the first weekly on 3.0, which used the source version of 3.0.

engineer124 Today at 8:00 AM Okay I'm not going crazy. For the race earlier today, epona's song was at sarias check. I grabbed eponas song early in the seed and saved. About 90 minutes later, I returned to sfm as child to go to Jabu, but the game decided to reteach me eponas song even though I already learnt it. Does anyone know why that could happen?

xthdoctor: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/385658367 So I got a bug with the Saria's Song check in the NA weekly this past weekend. At 1:09:30 you can see I got the vanilla song in that location, but when I returned there at 2:53:06, it taught me the song a second time. I hadn't not saved getting it before, and to test that live I returned to the skull kid to play the song for his item, and didn't get an item for it (because I previously got it already).

dotzo and cubs think it has to do with save quitting on the first frame after learning the song. The flag for having watched the cutscene gets set later than the flag for knowing the song or something. In vanilla the flag probably gets set at a later point in the cutscene and because of the speedup that rando does, the flag is set right after the cutscene ends in rando?
