Executing the "Collection Delay Glitch" can softlock the game
This is typically done accidentally by giving an item (e.g. Claim Check) to an NPC in return for a different item whilst mashing through the text boxes.
(This is already known. This issue is just being opened for documentation purposes.)
What exactly is the softlock potential? Is it just that you can set a location's flag without receiving the item?
According to ZSR, natural collection delay was patched for specific locations (including Biggoron) in 1.2. Maybe we could backport that fix? Though that doesn't address other collection delay methods accidentally being triggered.
