Reunion: Fury issues when items are destroyed with the Inventor

I was playing a game with the Inventor, got "Dramatic Entrance" and equipped it, so I automatically get Fury at the first turn (first two turns if upgraded). I had an item (Broadsword) that had only one use left, and used it as the first item. The item should have been destroyed, but it stayed on screen, and a new item appeared in its position, but behind the old unusable item, that stayed on the front (so I don't even know what the item behind is).

From here on, strange things happened: on the next turn, I lost the default equipment ("Combat Roll"), that was replaced with another item. Another item was destroyed after its three uses, but was not replaced. And I even ended up having "Dramatic Entrance" sharing a slot with something else behind it. I'm guessing that all these issues are due to two items occupying the same slot internally or something like that.

I can provide some screenshots if needed (I'm not sharing that by default due to possible spoilers).
