The app must be rebuilt on the new OS and should be quarantined from the signings and needs AIR28 running to function properly. You can see the Building for Catalina and How To Run On Catalina Instruction and follow the same on BigSur to get it working. I hope this should work for BigSur as well.

Anyways I will try to rebuild a new dmg for BigSur asap, the inability to use cmake properly is stopping me as it’ll affect my current projects to upgrade to bigSur. So I’ll rebuild once cmake issues gets resolved.

Quick Update : I just updated to BigSur and the Catalina build that I uploaded with the instructions works fine.

I tried downloading Bosca Ceoil on mac, Big Sur, but it says the developer must update the app, and it will not open. Screenshot 2020-12-14 at 3 57 14 PM Screenshot 2020-12-14 at 3 57 29 PM

@swoo23 please follow the instructions on How to Run on Catalina to get the app working. Here's a working proof of our beloved bosca ceoil running flawlessly on BigSur. Please let me know if you face any issues in getting the app running.

@Pikachuxxxx

Thank you! It worked for me :) However, will I still be able to use this program after December of this year as adobe air will discontinue?

Well I suggest you to keep the Adobe AIR installers backed up somewhere. I got a whole bunch of them so I hope it will keep working.
