Related problem
GT offers a cheaper way to form "Compressed Clay" for bricks (item) for any brick-related construction by using a Brick Wooden Form, with a 1:1 clay to brick item ratio. This is cheaper and faster than the TFC clay knapping recipe for "Unfired Brick", which has a 5:3 ratio.
However, the bricks formed via the GT method cannot be cooked in a Pit Kiln, Charcoal Forge or similar, and must use a GT or vanilla furnace to be cooked. This is not accessible during the pre-LV era.
Your solution
Create a custom recipe so that all clay bricks formed by crafting with the GT method will be the Unfired Brick.
Ensure that the Unfired Brick is the primary "clay brick" (so there isn't TFC conflicts) and remove any recipes or instances of the Compressed Clay.
Additional information
While you're at it, also add a recipe to generate GT Clay Dust from the Unfired Brick via Create Crushing or GT Part Grinding. This would bridge the missing GT recipe components of TFC Unfired Brick to make it truly TFG.
Also for material consistency, the Clay Dust volume from processing Clay Blocks should go from 1 -> 4 dust.
