is there any way i could help make a fix for this? i have a background in working with stuff like this and would love to pitch in if thats at all possible, just would need pointed in the right direction on where you might think the issue would lie

I did take a look at the tags on both types of dyes and I didn't see anything that stood out to me -- you could try taking a look through the TFC github and see what exactly it's looking for, for an item to be considered a valid dye?

will do! ill let you know what i find

my only guess would be that the tfc:dyes tag is preventing it from being applied, but maybe im tripping. everything else looks the same in the code

yeah, that's the weird part, because you'd think the tfc mechanic would want the tfc tag

Could it be some sort of side effect of me disabling the liquid GT dyes in favor of the ones in TFC?

it could be possible?

I looked into this a bit on the weekend, and now I'm even more confused because TFC is specifically looking for the minecraft dye items, and I don't see anywhere in gregtech where they've been overridden. It'd be nice to do a proper fix for this, but for the time being I've added crafting table recipes for all the stained wattle.
