Disagree with this change, tbh I'd prefer if all the tfc chests were made the normal vanilla chest size since you're dealing with way more materials than tfc was balanced around, and the gregtech crates are also options either way. It's fine as-is imo
(btw how can you make wood farm in Create then?)
Create's toolboxes are better in wood farms because you can filter their slots, making sure it won't clog up with saplings
Tool belts and crates are only available after iron which makes sense you, don't really need to store those before iron. If all chests could store all items tool belt mod would be useless
change your keybind of the "swap tool" key, then you'll change your mind about the toolbelt mod lol
I really did exaggerated by saying useless but my point stand, you don't really need to store wood and instruments before iron, wood can be stored in a log pile and instruments on a tool rack, and also there is the backpack that is despite not being made with iron is crafted with paper, being certainly a journey worth to do for the earliest early game, and framed chest is made out of 8 plank blocks and 8 sticks, in my opinion that just doesn't work with the progression at all
what sort of recipe do you propose then?
it can just take a wooden crate to craft, it has exactly the same capability of a wooden crate lol, one crate and one framed block for example
you pay one stick and 4 lumber for it to look like a chest
if you'd like, you can submit a pull request to fix the recipe yourself
I think this issue can be closed then, while playing I checked the EMI recipe for framed chests and now they do indeed require wooden crates
