FirmaLife Greenhouse Irrigation Problems
Version modpack Used
0.7.12 Curseforge
Environment
Multiplayer
New Worlds
Yes
Expected Behavior
By creating a greenhouse with sprinklers, it is impossible to automate the water supply inside of the greenhouse, making them useless and a massive waste of time and resources.
In the guidebook, It explains the use of an Irrigation and pumping stations. However the pumping station does not exist and has to be cheated in. Even with a pumping station, attached via waterwheel in Create with an axle, it simply does not work.
Without the pumping station, there is no way to pump fluid into the pipe network. Gregtech Pipes do not connect to Firmalife pipes, nor does attaching a valid mechanical water pump to an irrigation system solve anything. Firmalife sprinklers do not attach to gregtech pipes, and there is no liquid buffer offered by Firmalife to attach to the pipes.
Reading old bug reports;
https://github.com/TerraFirmaGreg-Team/Modpack-Modern/issues/323
States by [Exzept1on] that the problem was fixed in version 0.7.3 when it clearly is not, did not answer the question, and simply marked the post as complete. If there is a fix, this should be released as a patch because its a tremendous waste of time to make a greenhouse just to know items were removed without explanation. Does not bode well for the Gregtech age of this pack if random essential machines are just removed.
Actual Behavior
Have a way to irrigate greenhouses, or at least update the book to give better information.
Steps to Reproduce
Load into a game, read the irrigation quest book, and see there is no way to craft a pumping station or any information on how to make one (ie, hammering or chiseling an irrigation system to do so).

I solved this in my own save by cheating in a pumping station (which has its recipe disabled for whatever reason), and having an aqueduct flow directly into it like so:
The copper pipes seem to lack a dedicated tool for their removal, so it takes some time to mine them if you misplace them. Otherwise, they seem to work fine. It's worth noting that the sprinkler needs to have at least three blocks of air below it to properly function, which is never mentioned in the guidebook.
Here's my greenhouse for reference:
Slightly less importantly, the greenhouse blocks never seem to weather, despite what the guidebook says.
Except the fact that you have to cheat the pump, it works with aqueduct like a charm!
Its almost Criminal, but yeah I had to cheat mine in too, and it can be like a simple but hard recipe. Say like 5 bronze plates, a barrel, and a copper pipe?
It works though.
Now I can get back to growing papyrus.
This is also an option if you update your firmalife version and go to .minecraft/saves/SAVE_NAME/serverconfig/firmalife-server.toml and set usePipesForSprinklers to false:
