Expected Behavior

Crafting Red Steel and Blue Steel on Greg machines requires an EBF in the HV tier. (or MV4A) Until the HV tier is reached, it must be refined in the traditional way of TFC.

Actual Behavior

You need Red/Blue Steel until you get LV Assembler, after that you can make LV Machine Casing from 8 regular Steel. (I love this idea, with the assembler being the gate for the tech tree.)

If you recycle an LV machine made with regular Steel, the Red/Blue Steel will return.

The same can be obtained with Macerator. Centrifuging Dust would yield diverse resources from mere iron.

Steps to Reproduce

I verified it on a test world and the output was as per the recipe.

Additional Information

Most LV machines and LV Casing return Red/Blue Steel, but some machines return regular Steel. Assembler, Compressor, Bender, etc.
