[🐛]: Food Processor doesnt stack outputs in TFG custom foods

Open NINAustinFett opened this issue 4 months ago • 5 comments

Was this bug reported before?

  • [x] No, it was not.

Version modpack used

0.10.10

Environment

Forge Server

New Worlds

Yes

Please provide a link to your latest.log, if relevant.

NA

Expected Behavior

All food items make in the food processor stacks with the existing output if possible.

Actual Behavior

When crafting TFG food, tested freeze dried green apples and meal bags, the stacking changes in 0.10.10 do not apply. Tested base stacking logic with wheat to wheat grain.

Recipes were performed back to back.

Image

Even stranger sometimes it will stack a few items

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to craft more than 2 freeze dried green apples.

Additional Information

Going to look through see if I find anything that could be doing this/ perform some more robust testing. Could this be fixed by the milk curd fix?

So it works with regular TFC food items but not custom TFG ones?

Upon further testing yes. testing wheat grain vs freeze dried green apple this time in creative, wheat grain seems to always stack within reason. It works as expected tested at LV EV and UV food processors. FD green apple on the other hand seems to just randomly split into a new stack when a perfectly good one it there even at UV

Changing the foodDecayStackWindow from 6 to 100 in the tfc-server config here seems to help a lot allowing stacking of up to a full 64 FD Green apples but I don't know what other affects that could have.

It almost makes me want to have a big multiblock food maker that only outputs full stacks of food. Would make it easier.

Willing to do more testing if needed of course. lmk

Hmm, I wonder if this is a actually an issue of kubejs-tfc food not behaving the same as tfc. Either that or it's maybe because TFG food typically has much large expiration times than other foods

Code here seems to only take in the creation date and doesn't bother with the expiration time. I think this is the code that handles the stacking so I dont really know what the difference is.

lowering the priority of this because the fridge can stack things for you now
