Hunters-style health pickups in DM?

"I was a major player of Metroid Prime Hunters online back in the day so I hope there is a way to basically hog or block HP like in Metroid Prime Hunters online. Metroid Prime Hunter's HP orbs let you collect the HP even if it was full and gave you no HP benefit and by doing so it allowed players to control the map by blocking the HP orb. (That type of strategy was known as map control.)"
