Connection Flashing Properties

Open stevebanik-ndsc opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

In 4.0.1 on my external monitor, when I attempt to select the properties of a connection, the properties line flashes and is not selectable unless I carefully place the mouse on the top left of the properties icon. If I move Terminals back to my laptop screen and select the properties of the same connection, it does not flash and is selectable.

Can you provide screenshots?

I have the same problem. It only happens on the extended monitor and when the context menu is at the bottom of the screen. The properties button flashes and does not open when pushed. I use a 125% scaling on my primary laptop monitor. Maybe this is a factor?

It only happens on my extended monitor too, and I'm also scaling.

Maybe this could be fixed if terminals were to be made DPI Aware. There are lots of problems with terminals that are related to DPI awareness (mouse cursor problems in RDP session, blurry text/icons). Various other apps are afflicted by these problems (MS Office 2016 as well). But they usually crop up when you use different scaling settings on primary and extended monitor.
