Airdrop functionality for clippings [Feature request]

I often find myself wanting to securely share a clipping between my OS X and iOS devices. Airdrop functionality would be amazing, although might be feature creep. (I don't use iCloud sync for clippings because I often copy passwords and don't want them leaving my machine).

I could look into it if it generates interest here.
