Disable menu selection pastes not working

In the latest version on macOS Cataline 10.15.6, even if I disable menu selection pastes the selected clip from the list is getting pasted

Seeing this as well, OSX 10.14.6 Flycut 1.9.6.

Current behavior: With "Menu selection pastes" disabled, selecting an item automatically pastes the content.

Expect behavior: selection moves content to top of clipboard history to be pasted later.

This occurs whether sticky bazel is enabled or not.
