About output sdf format

I investigated the output sdf_grid and found its values almost all 1 and -1, does hunyuan do something like truncation to obtain this occupacy-field-like sdf from output true sdf or is this the direct output of the vae decoder? And are there any ways to obtain a real sdf directly, by not using marchingcube?
