What would you use this icon for?

Our application includes a viewer to browse books. The viewer has an option to display a book in single page or double page (spread) mode. I would like to use an icon and a button to let the user switch between the two modes.

Give us an example of what this icon might look like.

We are currently using mdi-locker and mdi-locker-multiple as a temporary solution. I got inspired by the existing icons mdi-book-open-outline and mdi-book-open-variant:
