Why does Telegram request Local Network permissions on iOS 14?

Description

Telegram app randomly requested Local Network permissions without any details on what for.

Expected Behavior

For user to receive information on why the app is requesting the permission

Steps to Reproduce

Unknown. The permission was requested randomly. Am however using AdGuard (DNS Protection). Could this be the reason?

Environment

iOS version**: 14.4

App version: 7.4.2 Using AdGuard

It is unclear at the moment why it happens as the app does not use any local networking features.

This pop up can be triggered by filtering network packets from the device using router firmware.

The app tries to establish connection to the server in a number of ways. We're checking the relevant code to determine the actual cause.

Thank you for a quick reply. Read on other sources that this pop-up is triggered in some apps because the device is using a VPN. Perhaps this is an iOS issue.

This popup got triggered when I received a call. Definitely shouldn't happen.
