Inconsistent behaviour on clicking downloading

Description

Upon starting a download for a file, when I try to check progress on all the download, sometimes it does not open download tab in the search area.(Sometime it works as intended as well)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Locate the file you wish to download.
2. In the chat section, click on “Download”
3. Watch the videos in Expected Behavior and Actual Behavior for reference
