iOS System Share Sheet Shows Wrong Contacts

Recently (~ a month ago) the Telegram contacts in my system share sheet started breaking. Previously, the three people I texted the most in Telegram showed up in the first five contacts in the top row of the share sheet when sharing from another app. Now these are frequently missing or at the very end of the list. I even get a suggestion for a group that I have never been a part of or heard about (!).
