what if I have 40k users

I have 40k active daily users. The load is taken by 15 servers with a 1cpu configuration. I want to switch to dedicated servers with a 1 Gbit bandwidth, but the server starts to lag due to so many users at a speed of 300 Mbit. Can Mtproxy work in multi-cores?
