Is the project dead ?

It seems like this repository hasn't had any bug fixes in more than a year. Does it mean the project is dead ?

If so, wouldn't it make sense to add that on the home page and also recommend people to use deploy their own SOCKS5 proxy and use it ?

Source code may not receive frequent updates, but it works. I just compiled on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, running a proxy 24/7 at a german datacenter right now.
